Luxurious Building
Al Faisal / Mirage
This mixed-use development in Al Faisal Luxurious 18th, which included several retail stores, was completed in 2010. In less than 10 years since its completion, the parking basement has demonstrated cracking and spalling of concrete caused by changes in loads of reinforced columns and beams due to high percentage corrosion of steel.
- During further investigation of the structure, it was also found that some parts of the columns resulted in the acceleration of corrosion of the strands.
- In some areas, severe strand corrosion is present, which requires immediate action.
- The existing condition of the structure has rendered the parking space unsafe for use and must be closed.
Al Rkhaa Al Oula Real Estate
Umm Ghwelina Residential Buildings No. 48 & 52
NCS Construction Solutions was honored to be selected by Al Rkhaa Al Oula Real Estate as the main contractor for the structural strengthening and full renovation of two residential buildings located in the Umm Ghwelina area at the capital of the state of Qatar in Doha. Our comprehensive scope of work encompassed both the structural reinforcement and the meticulous renovation of the buildings, from the basements to the roofs, covering a total of 60 apartment units.
Project scope and execution:
- Utilizing carbon fiber unidirectional composite fabrics and a specialized sensitive material to improve the structural integrity of buildings.
- Complete overhaul of residential units for modern, functional, and appealing living spaces.
- Thorough maintenance of all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems, including wet areas and service shafts.

DAMAC Group
Commerical building / United Arab
The building is in the city of Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. It is a newly constructed commercial building in the heart of the capital. The NCS company was hired to stop water leakage in the lower basement level where an existing waterproofing system had been compromised and to add additional strength to the existing concrete slab.
- The NCS team identified water ingress sources through cracks and designed a grout curtain layout using GT-Seal elastomeric polymer rubber with additives.
- Ports were inserted in a 600mm matrix in two directions, with 18mm diameter, 450mm deep holes reaching the slab's interior.
- After injecting the grout curtain, the walls were cleaned and prepared. Holes for 14mm diameter dowel bars, 120mm deep, were drilled, and dowels were secured with epoxy resin grout. Additional reinforcing steel was installed and tied to the dowels, followed by a 200mm-thick wall enlargement with ready-mix concrete.

- Using advanced engineering technologies, NCS cut 14 columns and strengthened and renovated 7 chalets based on specific requests from the chalet owners to Elegancia Arabia Company.
- Structural Integrity: Ensuring the building's stability and safety during concrete cutting and renovation.
- Logistics coordination: managing the transport and placement of heavy machinery and materials in a limited work environment.

Najada Souq, Doha
Historic Building Downtown
In the heart of downtown Doha, a significant historic building dating back to the 1980s was on the brink of demolition. The owner, deeply committed to preserving its legacy, sought viable options to fortify and extend the building’s life rather than succumb to its destruction.
- NCS Company is leveraging cutting-edge technologies and comprehensive studies to devise an innovative structural strengthening solution.
- By implementing advanced reinforcement techniques and utilizing state-of-the-art materials, we successfully enhanced the building's stability and resilience.
QPEX Contracting
Jumeirah beach houses
The consultant’s assessment revealed heavy leakage and delamination in the head house, particularly in the lower basement and raft. High chloride levels indicate a significant risk of reinforcement corrosion. Water leakage and contaminants, exacerbated by the facility’s proximity to the seaport, have disrupted operations and pose future risks due to ongoing degradation of the reinforcing steel.
- Stopping seawater from entering through concrete walls. Treatments for delamination, steel corrosion, and repairs of movement joints.
- Non-structural crack injection Impressed Current Cathodic Protection (ICCP) for reinforcing steel protection.
- Electro-Osmotic Pulse (EOP) system to prevent moisture ingress and protective coating application on raft slabs.
